Two recent shoots, one blah and one great, both involving longtime muse
Roxy Stardust (first as a model in a pin-up shoot where my sub-par performance let her down, and then as my assistant in a latex shoot which went really well).
The other common theme was that they were studio shoots; my first. I've not normally been inclined towards what I feel is a slightly sterile photographic environment, but when you live in Scotland, location shooting's out of the question for half the year. And I shouldn't knock it until I try it, right? Anyway, I stumbled across
Veverka, the studio premises used by a wedding and boudoir photographer in Blantyre. Looks like this will be my go-to facilities: good value, lots of space, and easy for me to get to (by car).
NB: my unhappiness at Roxy's shoot meant I was slow to process the images, so I haven't uploaded them here yet. I'll get around to it shortly, but until then, follow the blog links to Flickr if you're desperate.
